The checks that catch AI tells before anything ships. The same pre-publish pass behind every post on this site. Drop your email and it appears below, yours to keep.
- The AI tells that get a draft killed on sight
- The proof and sourcing bar every post has to clear
- The structure checks that separate a real piece from filler
One email to unlock it. No drip campaign.
◆ Yours to keep
The checklist.
Run it before you publish.
Remove the AI tells
- No em dashes. Use a period, a comma, or rewrite the sentence.
- No corporate or AI vocab: delve, leverage, crucial, transformative, robust, seamless, pivot, unlock, elevate.
- No contrarian reversal patterns ("It is not X. It is Y.").
- No filler openers ("Here is the thing", "The reality is", "That is a signal").
- Straight quotes only, never curly.
- No fabricated anecdotes. No invented "a founder told me last week" scenes.
Clear the proof bar
- At least three inline links to credible external sources, spread across the body.
- At least two distinct sources synthesized. Not a single-source rehash.
- Real numbers and results only. No unprovable superlatives ("#1", "industry-leading", "best-in-class").
- Any one named person or company is mentioned at most twice.
Check the structure
- Opens with a grounded observation or a defensible claim, not a question.
- Sentence rhythm varies. No run of three or more long sentences back to back.
- At least two internal links to related posts.
- Closes with a specific action, not "exciting times ahead".
Land the one CTA
- Exactly one offering CTA, matched to the topic.
- The body links to that same offering once, inline, for a stronger signal.
